National Health Service (NHS) Sight Test

At Keith Murphy, we welcome NHS patients and you may find that you are eligible for free eye examinations and help with the cost of spectacles or lenses. Find out below whether you are eligible and if so, what to do.

You are eligible for a free NHS Sight Test and an optical voucher if you or your partner receive any of the following:

• Income Support
• Jobseeker's Allowance
• Tax Credit Exemption Certificate
• Aged under 16
• In full time education (Aged 16,17 or 18)

You will qualify for a free NHS Sight Test if you are:

• Aged 60 or over
• Aged 40 or over and related to a Glaucoma sufferer
• Registered blind or partially sighted
• Suffering from Diabetes
• Suffering from Glaucoma
• At risk from Glaucoma
