I can highly recommend Keith Murphy Opticians. They may not be the cheapest opticians around but the care that’s taken to look after you from beginning to end (and beyond!) is unbeatable. Every member of staff is an expert in his or her field and is prepared to give you all the time you need, which is important as it means nothing is missed.

If you’re a first-time glasses wearer and have no idea what you’re looking for you can be sure you’ll come out with something that works and suits you well!

After many years of always using free eye test vouchers for the high street chain opticians, I decided to try an independent optician and invest in paying slightly more for an appointment. In comparison to the usual opticians I had been to before, Keith Murphy ran many more tests and checks using modern equipment to fully assess the health of my eyes, and it was clear why it's worth paying for a fully serviced independent opticians like this. I also needed some help reassessing the brand of contact lens I was using and Jessica was a great help, allowing me to try various types of lenses until we found the best fit for my needs. Highly recommend this opticians!

I have 2 boys who are on the spectrum, this is the first time they have seen Mr Chaaban Zeidan, he was superb, he explained everything before it happened. Both boys had a stress free eye exam, will definitely be booking their review here again.

All 6 of the family need glasses or contact lenses. Previously we had visited 4 other local opticians and been completely frustrated by the lack of service. Keith Murphy Opticians have been a god send, their service is second to none -they will go above and beyond to get you what you need. We have four children and they have a real rapport with them. I cannot recommend them enough!

What a difference an independent opticians makes! I didn't have my eye test here, but wasn't happy with the glasses selection presented to me where I did have my eye test. I wandered into Keith Murphy and was met with friendly, helpful and patient assistants. They weren't overbearing nor did they pressure. They also talked through many options for my particular prescription that I wasn't even aware of. Subsequently I booked my husband and son in for sight tests and will be back to discuss my own needs in more detail.

Mr Murphy is incredible, in a league of his own in terms of optometry. The help and advice he has given my son (now aged 8) to diagnose his dyslexia and advise / support his learning has been second to none. Highly recommended.
